Project intro
The gap between “normal” and “refugee” feels impossible to cross.
Narratives is a platform that tries to shift how people think about refugees. It works, not by throwing stats at people, but by letting them wander through real migration stories and sit with the choices refugees actually face. I led the design, contributed to coding and collaborated with an engineer to translate my high-fidelity Figma wireframes into prototypes in Cursor and integrating AI APIs for image generation, voice-overs, and a map-based discovery mode. The work was grounded in interviews with a refugee-support NGO, field research alongside immigration lawyers and a documentary-maker, and a structured AI workflow that kept human perspective at the center.
